Your account and creations
MakeStory stores your account identifier, language preference, projects, characters, conversations, generated media, subscription status and credit transactions. We process uploaded references and prompts to provide the creation tools you use.
Service providers
Clerk handles sign-in. Polar handles payments and tax calculation when payments are available. OpenAI processes text, image and transcription requests. Higgsfield processes video requests. Media files are kept in private storage. Each provider has its own service and privacy terms.
Cookies and access
Essential cookies support sign-in and save your interface language. Optional marketing cookies are off by default. Media access requires a signed-in account or a signed link that expires. Share downloads only with your intended recipients.
Before public launch
Before accepting customers, the operator must publish their legal identity, address, support and privacy contacts, data retention periods, governing jurisdiction and consumer withdrawal terms.
