AI story video generator for scenes that make sense

Turn an idea into a storyboard and scene images with MakeStory's AI story video generator. Review the preview before animating and assembling your video.

Find the change at the center of the story

MakeStory's AI story video generator turns an idea into a storyboard and scene images. Review both in the preview before requesting animation and assembling the video. Begin with a change the audience can see or hear: a character makes a choice, discovers a mistake or helps someone they avoided.

For a first project, choose one location and a small cast. MakeStory can prepare a scene sequence from your idea, and Studio lets you review individual scenes. Treat that sequence as a draft. Review the generated storyboard and scene images before requesting animation.

Translate description into visible action

Instead of saying that a lighthouse keeper feels guilty, show a letter hidden under an unlit lamp. Give the character a small action that changes the situation. You can plan these beats in the free storyboard planner before starting a generation.

Story: A lighthouse keeper finally answers an old letter
Scene 1: The keeper finds the unopened envelope beside the lamp
Scene 2: A visitor waits outside in the rain
Scene 3: The keeper opens the door and hands over a reply
Ending: The lamp comes on as the visitor leaves

Prepare the storyboard in MakeStory

  1. Write a brief that includes the starting situation, the main choice and the ending.
  2. Choose the visual style, format and saved characters appropriate to the story.
  3. Review the suggested scene order and remove repeated information.
  4. Check each scene image against the cast references before requesting movement.
  5. Give each clip one main action, then review the assembled video and its sound.

Let each cut answer a question

A cut should help the audience understand what happens next. If the keeper finds a letter, a close view can reveal who sent it. Moving immediately to an unrelated landscape spends time without answering the question the previous image raised.

Use dialogue where it adds something an image cannot show. Read each line aloud and leave room for the character to react. If several lines compete with a complicated action, split the beat or simplify the line before generating again.

Review the story in the downloaded file

  1. Check that the audience can identify the character, location and immediate problem.
  2. Confirm that each important prop appears before it affects the ending.
  3. Watch the cuts for changes in clothing, position or the direction of movement.
  4. Listen to the dialogue and check caption spelling, timing and legibility on a phone.

Questions about long stories and revisions

What if the story is too long? Divide it where a character makes a meaningful decision. Give each episode an immediate result, then record the facts needed for the next one. Series mode can organize the episodes around the same cast.

Can you repair one scene? Review the scene in Studio and change the relevant image, text or motion instruction where that control is available. Check the new credit quote before regenerating. A revised scene can also change how its neighboring cuts read.

The next scene starts with an idea.
