Give every episode a reason to exist
A recurring character is a start. A series also needs something that can keep changing: a goal, a relationship, a place to explore or a small problem to solve. Plan one repeatable premise and one new problem per episode.
MakeStory groups episodes around a series and its cast. Use that structure to keep character choices and the visual universe together while you write the next installment.
Plan a small first season
- Write the premise in one sentence and choose a visual style.
- Select a small recurring cast with clear, different roles.
- Outline three episode problems. Give each its own ending.
- Create the first episode and inspect its scenes before committing to the next.
- Use the same cast for episode two, then check what the audience needs to remember.
Keep production decisions visible
Record which outfit, prop or location needs to return. A short continuity note is more useful than repeatedly rewriting the whole character description. The free storyboard planner can help you prepare scenes before spending generation credits.
Series access, video length and credit allocations depend on your plan. Generation also depends on the configured providers. Publishing to TikTok, Reels or Shorts is a separate step after download; this page does not promise scheduled or automatic social posting.
