Seedance AI video generator for story scenes

Use the Seedance AI video generator in MakeStory to animate an image. Compare duration, resolution, sound and credits before generating.

Start with the scene you need

The Seedance AI video generator turns a source image and motion instructions into a clip. Seedance 2.5 is selectable in MakeStory, where you can choose the offered duration and resolution before reviewing the credit quote. Begin with one visible action so you can judge whether the result tells the intended story.

MakeStory currently offers 480p, 720p and 1080p settings for this model, with clip durations between four and thirty seconds. The available controls and quote in your workspace are the final check before you spend credits.

Prepare the first image

A clay baker notices a loaf slowly sliding off a shelf. Put the baker, loaf and shelf in the starting image. Keep the background simple enough to see the movement. If the loaf is already on the floor, the prompt has to undo the image before the intended action can begin.

Set up a controlled first attempt

  1. Open the clip workflow and upload an image you own or have permission to use.
  2. Choose Seedance 2.5 and a duration that gives the action time to finish.
  3. Select an offered resolution and inspect the credit quote before submitting.
  4. Describe the movement and camera separately. Keep the source image and settings when testing a revised instruction.

A small action with a readable ending

A clay baker in a white apron watches a loaf slide toward the shelf edge. The baker catches it with both hands and exhales. Keep the camera still, the same warm bakery lighting and the handmade clay texture. End with the loaf safely held.

Check the catch, not only the first frame

Watch the contact between hands and bread. Does the loaf change size? Does it pass through a finger? Does the ending hold long enough to understand? Listen to any generated audio before adding music or subtitles. Native audio still needs review.

Should every scene use the highest resolution? First check whether the action works at a lower offered setting and whether the result meets your export needs. More pixels cannot repair an unclear action. Retrying or changing settings can consume additional credits.
