Decide which decisions deserve repeating
TikTok video automation in MakeStory covers generating story scenes and reusing character references, with review before animation and export. You download the finished file and handle the TikTok upload yourself. A repeatable workflow saves the choices that worked. Keep the cast, style notes and review checklist, then write a different event for each video. Reusing a weak script only produces the same problem more often.
MakeStory organizes story projects, scenes and recurring series. Generation can handle images and animation, while you review the result. Publishing remains a separate task. There is no TikTok scheduler or automatic social posting in this workflow.
Create a production checklist
- Write a reusable brief with the premise, cast, visual style and intended format.
- Save approved character references and note the details that must remain stable.
- Outline a small set of different episode problems before starting generation.
- Create one storyboard at a time and check its story before requesting animation.
- Record the actual credits and retries for a completed video before planning more.
A week of ideas without five copies
Use the same fruit market and two shopkeepers. Different problems give you useful variety while keeping character setup familiar.
Reusable setting: A small fruit market at closing time. Idea 1: A pear shopkeeper loses the key inside a watermelon. Idea 2: A lemon tries to weigh a balloon and cannot keep it on the scale. Idea 3: The shopkeepers discover that the last crate is full of tiny umbrellas. Review rule: Each story must show its own problem and ending.
Keep a pause between production stages
Review the story brief before requesting a storyboard, inspect the generated stills before motion and watch the assembled video before download. The scene editor lets you target the part that failed. These pauses can prevent spending more credits on a wrong outfit, missing prop or confusing action. Check the quote before confirming new generations.
Make publication a deliberate step
- Name downloaded files so you can identify the episode and final revision.
- Watch the final file, including audio and captions, rather than relying on the storyboard preview.
- Upload the video to TikTok yourself and review the cover, description and platform settings.
- Keep your publication notes outside MakeStory and use observed results to revise the next brief.
How much output can you plan?
Plan around your own measured production time and credit budget. Model queues, longer scenes and revisions change the workload. Completing one reviewed episode gives you a better estimate than assuming every generation will work immediately.
Using recurring references reduces repeated setup but does not guarantee identical characters. Automation also does not guarantee views, monetization or a daily posting schedule. Keep the human review stage even after you settle on a format.
